Location Data: Device location is accessed to find nearby shops, businesses, and facilitate cash-on-delivery (COD) or advance payment delivery requests.
Transaction & Wallet Data: Subscription statuses, message pack balances, and transaction history within the in-app wallet.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

To verify your identity and manage your account.
To enable real-time chat, search, and ordering between shops and customers.
To coordinate with delivery riders and process delivery receipts.
To manage subscriptions and automate renewals when your wallet contains a sufficient balance.

3. Sharing Your Information

We prioritize the privacy of your details. Your data is shared strictly as necessary to execute platform services:

Between Customer and Shop: Chat messages, order specifications, and delivery details (Name, Contact Number, and Address) are shared to complete purchases.
With Delivery Riders: Selected delivery details are shared to ensure safe and correct transit of packages.
No Third-Party Advertising: We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to third-party marketing companies.

4. Data Security & User Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login details and 4-digit PIN.
Any actions performed through your Shop Chat account will be considered to have been taken by you.
We use industry-standard measures to safeguard your information, but no electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.

5. Third-Party Agreements & Limitation of Liability

Shop Chat is a platform facilitating brick-and-mortar commerce. Any agreements, purchases, product quality concerns, cash on delivery (COD) transactions, or advance payments are resolved directly between the respective Shop and Customer. Shop Chat does not offer insurance, assumes no liability for disputes, and is not responsible for any fraud or discrepancies.
